Please note that international deliveries are subject to delays due to less air traffic and due to the authorities in some countries applying special measures. Europe: allow 2–4 weeks. Outside Europe: allow 6–8 weeks.
Australia and New Zealand: Postal services are (almost) back to normal.
USA: Parcels (above 2kg) are now possible, but only with express service.
Canada: At present Post Austria does not ship any letters or parcels to Canada.

There are still a number of African countries and smaller countries which are not served. (For a complete list and updates, please see CSV listings on Post Austria: Information Delivery Delay.) Delays are frequent.
Public Health England (PHE) has advised that people receiving parcels are not at risk of contracting the coronavirus. From experience with other coronaviruses, it is known that these types of viruses don’t survive long on objects, such as letters or parcels. As a precaution, however, it is recommended to wash your hands after disposing of the packaging.
